The 7 Nights/8 Days Deccan Odyssey train Tour from Mumbai/Mumbai departs from Mumbai on Wednesday Afternoon; covering Sindhudurg Sea Fort & Tarkarli beach (Thurs); UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa Churches & Golden beaches of Goa (Fri & Sat); Princely town of Kolhapur(Sunday) ; UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ellora Cave temples & Aurangabad Fort (Mon) ;UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ajanta Cave murals & Nasik Temple town(Tue) -before returning to Mumbai next Wednesday morning.

Day 1: Wed : MUMBAI Depart
Report by 3.00 p.m. at CST Railway Terminus at Fort Area, Mumbai
Proceed for check-in formalities & train departs by 430 p.m.

Day 2: Thurs : SEA FORT & BEACHES
Train arrives at Sindhudurg Railway Station by 0730 a.m.
After breakfast on board ,by 8 a.m. proceed by A/C bus to Malvan boat jetty & visit 18th Century built Sea Fort of Sindhudurg by boat
Later drive to virgin beach of Tarkarli for Lunch & time at leisure.
Evening excursion to Cashew nut Factory in Dharampur Village.
By 615 p.m. return to Deccan Odyssey train at Kudal Railway Station
Train departs by 630 p.m. & Dinner On board


Day 3 : Fri : GOA
Train arrives in Karmali Railway Station by 7.30 a.m.
After breakfast on board ,proceed by 8 a.m. for excursion to UNESCO World Heritage Site of late 16th century built Portuguese Churches
Return by 1245 hrs to Deccan Odyssey train at Verna Railway Station
On board lunch & time at leisure
By 415 p.m. depart for beach side resort to enjoy cultural program & dinner
By 915 p.m return to Deccan Odyssey Train stationed at Verna Railway Station
At Night -train stationary at Verna Railway Station (Goa)


Day 4 : Sat : GOA
After breakfast board,by 930 a.m proceed for excursion to Mangeshi Hindu Temple,Spice Plantation in Ponda
Traditional Goan style lunch in plantation farm house
Proceed to Chandoli village & visit 16th century built Menezes Braganza House
By 630 p.m. reach Madgaon Railway Station to board deccan Odyssey train
The train departs by 7 p.m. & Dinner on board


Day 5 : Sun : KOLHAPUR Town
Train arrives at Kolhapur Railway Station by 730 a.m.
After on board breakfast,proceed by A/C buses from 08 a.m. to 1230 Noon to visit Kolhapur Town
Places visited include- 19th century built Shalini Palace,Museum,Mahalaxmi Hindu Temple
Enjoy traditional martial art & cultural program,followed by visit to handicrafts stalls
Return to Kolhapur Station by 1230 Noon & train departs by 1245 hrs
Lunch on board & rest of day at leisure.
Evening 730 p.m. technical stop at Pune Railway station for 15 minutes

Day 6: Mon: ELLORA CAVES & AURANGABAD
Train arrives at Daualatabad Railway station by 0645 a.m.
After onboard breakfast,board A/C buses by 0745 a.m. & proceed for excursion to 14th century built Daulatabad Hill Fort
Later visit UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ellora Cave Temple complex,carved out of hill face between 8th to 12th Century A.D.
Return to Aurangabad town for lunch in 5 star Hotel
Afternoon visit early 18th century built Bibi Ka Maqbara & time free for shopping.
Return to railway station by 530 p.m. & Dinner on board
Train departs by 10 p.m.


Day 7 : Tue : AJANTA CAVES & NASIK
Train reaches Bhusawal railway station by 7 a.m.
After Early breakfast on board,proceed at 730 a.m. by A/C buses for excursion to UNESCO World Heritage site of Buddhist Cave temple complex,some dating back to 2nd century B.C.Later drive back to Jalgoan Railway station to board Deccan Odyssey by 1245 noon & train departs by 1.15 p.m.
Reach Nasik Railway Station by 5 p.m.& visit ancient Hindu temples located on Holy River Godavari
Return by 730 p.m. to train stationed at Deolali Railway Station
Dinner on board & train departs by 1030 p.m

Train reaches CST Railway Station,Mumbai by 730 a.m.
