Day 01 : Wednesday Mumbai Depart
Report by 3.00 p.m at Check-in Counter of Deccan Odyssey train /MTDC at
Chhatrapati Shivaji Rail Terminus (South Mumbai,Fort Area) & after
traditional welcome, be escorted to your respective cabins. Train departs by
4.30 p.m.
Day 02 : Thursday Island Sea Fort &
Beach visit
Morning enjoy boat ride to visit 17th century built Sea Fort of Sindhudurg,
spread over 48 acres on a rocky island.
Afternoon at leisure at Tarkarli -a virgin beach at the confluence of river
Karli and Arabian Sea.
On way back to the Railway Station visit, Cashew Factory & ancient
Hindu temples.
Day 03 : Fri : GOA
Morning visit 16th century built churches of Old Goa, where mortal remains
of St. Francis Xavier are enshrined.
Return to comforts of the luxury train for lunch & rest.
Evening enjoy cultural program and traditional Goan cuisine at Beach resort
hotel.

04 : Sat : GOA
Day excurcusion to Spice Plantation & High Tea at 17th built Colonial
House
Day 05 : Sun :
Kolhapur Town
Morning arrive at Kolhapur -an ancient city, famous for its food, headwear,
footwear, jewellery, wrestling and religious connections. Proceed to visit
19th century built Royal Palace & museum housing rare paintings and
artefacts. Later visit exquisitely carved Mahalaxmi Hindu Temple. Witness
traditional Martial Art Cultural Programme locally known as Mardani
Khel. Time free to shop for Kolhapuri cotton saris, local jewellery,
leather sandals and Kolhapuri chappals. Return to Deccan Odyssey train for
lunch & train departs for Aurangabad. Afternoon & evening at
leisure.

06 : Mon : Aurangabad & Ellora Cave Temples
Morning excursion to Daulatabad hill fort, which was capital of India for
couple of years under Tuglak dynasty in 14th century
Next stop is UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ellora Cave temple
complex-sculpted over a period of 600 years & dedicated to three
different faiths of Hinduism, Buddhism & Jainism.
Afternoon visit Bibi-ka-Maqbara, a replica of Taj Mahal & time free for
shopping in Aurangabad town.
Day 07 : Tue Ajanta Caves & Nasik
Pilgrimage Town
Morning excursion to renowned Buddhist cave temples of Ajanta-an UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Witness some of the finest paintings and sculptures,
some of them dating back to second century B.C.
Late afternoon walk through narrow streets of Nashik temple town, situated
on the banks of the Godavari River & one of the holiest places for
Hindus from all over the world.
Day 08 : Wednesday Mumbai Return
Train returns back to Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Rail Terminus by 0745 am &
check-out after early breakfast by 0815 hrs. Tour ends.
